The APR-2 anemometer is designed to determine the air flow velocity during meteorological measurements on land and sea, in mines and mines of all categories, as well as in industrial ventilation and air conditioning systems.
The anemometer determines the average value of the air flow velocity over a measurement time interval of arbitrary duration in the range from 1 to 999 s. The current value of the duration of the measurement interval in seconds is continuously displayed on the digital indicator of the anemometer during the measurement.
The anemometer also allows you to calculate the time-weighted average of the speed of a series of sequentially performed measurements. Information about individual measurements is stored in the anemometer's memory until the measurement is completed and is used later to calculate the average result. The result of the last measurement is stored in the device's memory after it is turned off until the start of the next series of measurements and can be displayed on the indicator at any time.

Industrial tests of prototypes of the APR-2 anemometer in the amount of 200 pieces were put into operation at the mines of Ukraine and 238 pieces at 12 Vorkutaugol mines. -
